The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it really is alarmed with regards to the higher variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to service the area daily. The service point produced for intervention activities a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which sassa status makes it complicated to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In here this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all buyers and improve access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
